About Last Night...
• NFL: Jaguars 3, Patriots 28. It was a Tom Kazanski performance for the Patriots last night. It's the way they play, ice cold, no mistakes. They wear you down, you get bored, frustrated—do something stupid and they've got you. • NBA: Jazz 94, Pistons 90. Utah beats Detroit for the second time this season, sweeping the season series. The rest of the NBA lets out a collective, "What the hell?" And in a completely unrelated story, a Salt Lake City movie theater owned by Jazz owner Larry Miller refuses to show Brokeback Mountain. • NBA: Lakers 112, Clippers 109. If I told you that a Laker scored 50 points, 40 of them in the second half, you'd think it was Von Wafer, wouldn't you? Well, you'd be wrong. It was Kobe Bryant. Wafer did have 0 points and 3 fouls in 3 minutes of play, though, which is almost as good.
