Another Biblical Hailstorm Suspends Soccer Game
Two hailstorms in just over a week suspending play? Quick, someone check the math on those Mayan Doomsday calendars; maybe they were just a year off!
The video above comes from the Britannia Stadium where Stoke City was playing Manchester United in today's Capital One Cup match. After being unable to see due to the ice beads pelting his face, the ref finally decided to stop the game and wait for it to clear up. (Well, clear up or for Jesus to return.) Play eventually resumed.
