AP Stylebook Declares Which College Teams Get To Go By Their Initials
I said this the last time I blogged about the Associated Press sports styles, and I’ll say it again: I find this stuff fascinating, and it’s my blog, so if you don’t like it you can just go right back to the toilet you came from.
The AP Stylebook, while not the only style guide out there, is likely the one that influences the terminology and usage choices made by the largest number of newspapers and websites (including this one) that you read. Today, the held a Q&A chat hosted by AP assistant sports editor Oskar Garcia. Here’s the good stuff:
