What’s the proper response when a referee gives you a dubious red card in a final? If you’re Guarani fullback Ferreira, it’s to shove the referee over, fight half of the players on both teams, and get physically dragged off the pitch by your team.

The action took place during Saturday’s second leg of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C—the Brazilian third division—championship. The first leg finished 1-1, and Boa Esporte was up 2-0 on Guarani when Ferreira was handed the red card, likely dooming any chance Guarani had of a comeback, and causing Ferreira to lose his head.
