Bombing Suspects' Father Speaks, Claims His Sons Are Innocent
BBC News caught up with Anzor Tsanarev, father of marathon bombing suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, and conducted a brief interview with him. Speaking through an interpreter, Anzor vehemently defended his sons, expressing confidence in their innocence. "I have 100 percent, million percent confidence in them," he said.
Anzor went on to say that his sons had never been around guns before, and that they left Kyrgyzstan in order to escape persecution from the Russian government. "They were about to annihilate us," he said.
