Mandatory Credit: Benny Sieu-Imagn Images The Milwaukee Brewers moved left-handed pitcher DL Hall to the 15-day IL with a left pectoral strain as part of several moves made Friday.
Hall, 27, was one of two Brewers relievers to suffer injuries in Thursday's 12-9 home loss to the San Francisco Giants.
In the fifth inning, Hall hopped after releasing his 27th pitch of the day, and after meeting with Brewers manager Pat Murphy and the Milwaukee training staff, the left-hander exited the game.
Hall has a 2.03 ERA this season over 24 appearances (one start). Hall's return timeline is put at four to six weeks, per Murphy.
The other player injured Thursday, Grant Anderson, who took a line drive to the right forearm, had negative X-rays and was reported working out with the team in pregame before the Brewers' Friday game in Colorado.
The Brewers also designated right-hander Jake Woodford for assignment, while they recalled lefty Brian Fitzpatrick and righty Craig Yoho from Triple-A Nashville.
Woodford, 29, has a 6.94 ERA over 16 appearances. Fitzpatrick, 26, has appeared in four major league games in his career, all this season, boasting a 1.59 ERA. Yoho, 26, last appeared for the Brewers last season, compiling a 7.27 ERA over eight games.
