Chris Kaman Injured His Finger While Tobogganing In China
Chris Kaman hurt his finger while tobogganing at the Great Wall of China with Lakers teammates. Shawne Williams is technically responsible.
Now, it wasn't this kind of toboggan. This "toboggan" was essentially a cart with brakes. (Here's video of one.) Apparently, Williams's cart rammed into the back of Kaman's cart, and Kaman squished his finger between two toboggans.
Judging from Kaman's account, though, it's also partially his fault for going so fast. From the Los Angeles Times:
"I didn't hit the brake the whole time. Guys on the edge were yelling 'Slow down' and I just kept going," Kaman said. "All of a sudden I catch up to this guy close to the bottom, so now I have to brake. Shawne Williams comes behind me without hitting his brake at all and just smashed right into me."
Kaman is expected to play Tuesday, so this tobogganing incident only caused minimal bloodshed.
