Greg Anthony's Soliciting Charge Will Be Dropped
CBS and Turner NBA analyst Greg Anthony will have the soliciting prostitution charge that was brought against him dropped thanks to a deal with the D.C. Superior Court.
Anthony appeared in court on Wednesday, and reached a deferred prosecution agreement, an option for those facing low-level misdemeanor charges. Anthony's charge will be dropped as long as he completes 32 hours of community service and stays out of trouble for four months.
Anthony was arrested on Jan. 16 as part of an undercover sting operation. He met an undercover police officer in a hotel room, and was arrested after agreeing to pay the officer $80 in exchange for sex and "dressing up." He was suspended by both CBS and Turner shortly after the arrest became public.
