Hell Exists And It's Getting Your Hair Cut While Skip Bayless Yells At You
Screencap via ESPN The Los Angeles Times talked to old friend Skip Bayless and wrote about his preparation for the premiere of Second Take, which will begin airing on Sept. 6 and, if patterns hold, will stop drawing viewers about a week later when everyone is finished rubber-necking. Skip has already promised HOTTER TAKES now that ESPN isn’t keeping his raw truths from the people.
Something he won’t be changing is his sleep patterns, even though he now lives in Los Angeles. Takes never sleep, and therefore neither does Bayless.
In sticking with his schedule when he was based in Bristol, Conn., Bayless will rise each morning at 2 a.m. Pacific time to catch up with whatever happenings he missed by going to bed at 9 p.m., sharpening himself for the coming debate with Sharpe.
The newly-unleashed Bayless also went to a real barbershop in Los Angeles and let his takes run wild and free:
He began stirring it up in L.A. last week, taking to a Fairfax Avenue barber shop to talk sports with fans who came in for a cut. Bayless defended the abilities of Tim Tebow and opined that Aaron Rodgers is overrated considering his mixed playoff results.
I can think of few things worse than sitting down for a haircut, seeing the door swing open and revealing a beet-red Skip Bayless coming at me full bore to tell me how, “If you think DeMarcus Cousins is a good basketball player, I’ve got two words for you: Matthew Dellavedova.”
Did this happen to you a week ago at Legends? Was the faceless Fox robot also there? If you or anyone you know when in and got a cut that day, please write in at [email protected] and let us know about the takes. I’d really like to hear about the takes.
