High School Football Player Ejected After Bodyslamming Opponent
Image via [object Object] A high school football game between Sevier County and Gibbs High (Tenn.) briefly got out of hand over the weekend when Sevier County defensive end Jeff Bersch attempted to powerbomb one of his opponents:
Bersch was ejected from the game and will now have to sit out the next game. The Knoxville News Sentinel caught up with Sevier County’s head coach, who explained the situation rather succinctly:
“Our defensive end lost his composure and slammed a guy into the ground,” he said.
