Karl-Anthony Towns, Who Is Awesome, Did A Bunch Of Cool Shit Last Night
I’m sort of embarrassed at how little we’ve talked about Karl-Anthony Towns on this here website. We’ve heaped plenty of deserved praise on fellow rookie Kristaps Porzingis, but Towns has been just as thrilling (and more productive) in his first NBA season. So, let’s drool over some of the things he did against the Thunder last night.
We’ll start with the poster dunk, which saw him going over and through one of the best rim-protectors in the league like it was no big deal:
How about this nifty no-look pass?
And then there was this silliness, which didn’t count but was still cool as hell:
Towns finished last night’s game with 19 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, and three blocks. He went for 27-11 against the Cavs on Monday, and he hit the the Mavericks with an absurd 27-17 to go along with six blocks last Wednesday. Also:
He’s pretty good!
