Look Out World, We Got Another Watt
Photo: Don Wright/ [object Object] J.J. Watt has gotten a lot of well-deserved attention for both his on-and off-field actions over his career, but today, once the games began, it was one of his brothers who took over the spotlight.
T.J. Watt, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ first-round pick out of Wisconsin, was the defensive MVP in his debut game against Cleveland. The young linebacker booked himself a spot in DeShone Kizer’s nightmares all next week, getting to the Browns QB twice for sacks, then showing off his versatility by stretching for a pick on an underthrown pass.
Since stats became official, Watt is the first non-replacement player to get two sacks and a pick in his NFL debut. Opposing teams better make sure they can handle this new extra Watt-age.
