Mandatory Credit: Wendell Cruz-USA TODAY Sports Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier, a member of this year's U.S. Olympic team, left Thursday night's loss to the Connecticut Sun with an injury to her left foot.
She is listed as doubtful to play for Minnesota against the visiting Washington Mystics on Saturday.
Collier, 27, sustained the non-contact injury with about 2 1/2 minutes remaining in the third quarter. She did not return to the game.
Prior to the injury, Collier was held to a season-low nine points as the Sun beat the Lynx 78-73. Collier's low point total ended a streak of 29 consecutive regular-season games of scoring in double figures, dating back to last season.
Collier is in her sixth season in the WNBA after being selected by the Lynx in 2019 with the No. 6 draft pick out of UConn. Her accolades include the 2019 Rookie of the Year Award and four All-Star nods.
She was named the MVP of the Commissioner's Cup final, won by the Lynx on June 25, the same month she was named to her second Olympic squad.
Collier is averaging 20.0 points, 10.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists this season. She has career averages of 17.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
