The Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders entered college basketball immortality after a wire-to-wire upset of second-seeded Michigan State, becoming just the eighth 15-seed to win in the NCAA tournament’s round of 64.
MTSU jumped out to a 15-2 lead to start the game, and never gave it up—relying on rebounding and play in the paint, somehow, to upset Izzo’s squad.
