From our standpoint, everyone in New York is breathing a sigh of relief: No one really wanted the Olympics anyway. But it's a bad day for Mayor Michael Bloomberg and, maybe, the Mets, who have to be wondering if they're really getting that new stadium they were promised. New York was the second city eliminated; Madrid even beat them. It's tough to beat a presentation with flamenco dancers, we guess.
