Mandatory Credit: Trevor Ruszkowski-Imagn Images Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers would still welcome a trade out of Las Vegas, maintaining his preseason position on his future with the franchise.
Meyers is tied for the team lead with 29 receptions for 329 yards and continues to be mentioned as a potential trade target with the Raiders (2-5) fading in an otherwise contentious AFC West race.
"I got no control over that. If I'm here, I'm here," Meyers said on Tuesday about being on the trade block.
But if Meyers had his druthers, the wish for a trade would stand.
"Oh, for sure," Meyers said. "But I'm a professional at the end of the day. I'm just trying to play good football."
Meyers met with the Raiders' brass before the start of the regular season and asked for a trade. He said they told him "no."
He has a $10.5 million base salary in 2025 but no guaranteed money remaining on his three-year deal that can be voided after this season. He turns 29 on Nov. 9, five days after the trade deadline.
Meyers became the No. 1 wide receiver for the Raiders following the October 2024 trade of Davante Adams to the New York Jets. He caught 87 passes for 1,027 yards and four touchdowns last season.
