Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (31) blows a kiss to fans after scoring a touchdown against the New York Jets. credits: Jim Rassol / USA TODAY NETWORK Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert is not expected to play on Sunday against the host Baltimore Ravens because of knee and ankle injuries, multiple media outlets reported.
Rookie De'Von Achane and Jeff Wilson Jr. likely will see the bulk of the rushing responsibilities in place of Mostert, who leads the NFL with a franchise-best 18 rushing touchdowns. Mostert shares the NFL lead with 21 total touchdowns to go along with a career-high 1,012 rushing yards.
Mostert officially was listed as questionable after being limited in practice on Friday and head coach Mike McDaniel pointing to limited explosiveness laterally and making cuts.
The Dolphins (11-4) officially ruled out wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (ankle).
