Tom Brady Rolled His Ankle But He's Good To Go
When Tom Brady was added to the Patriots' injury report on Friday, it seemed like another serious factor to consider in this whole What's wrong with Tom Brady?/Oh nothing actually debate of the last few weeks. Or at least some patented Bill Belichick tomfoolery:
OK, so maybe the guy who built the Buccaneers and got pranked by a couple of teens isn't the best source of information. Per Adam Schefter, Brady's injury was legit, but shouldn't be a big deal when he faces the Bills in an early game:
Brady injured his ankle during Friday's practice, when he rolled it on the foot of one of New England's interior offensive linemen, a source told ESPN.
Brady was limited for the rest of Friday's practice but the ankle injury is not expected to impact him Sunday.
"It's really not an issue," one source said.
New England announced just now that Brady is active for today's game. This isn't really surprising, as Brady didn't appear hobbled yesterday. But it is something to keep in mind if the Pats' young O-line starts collapsing against the Bills' front four.
