Tundra Esports top Team Falcons for BLAST Slam III title

Jordan Woodruff Tundra Esports were extended to four maps before defeating Team Falcons on Sunday in the grand final of the BLAST Slam III playoff stage in Copenhagen, Denmark.
After a victory in 58 minutes on red, Tundra Esports won on green in 38 minutes. Team Falcons stayed alive with a win in 38 minutes on red before Tundra closed it out with a win in 56 minutes on red.
Bozhider "bzm" Bodganov of Bulgaria led Tundra with a 9.75-3-9 average kills-deaths-assists ratio. Teammate Remco "Crystallis" Arets of the Netherlands averaged a K-D-A of 7.25-4-10.25.
Team Falcons had won the Group A stage at 3-1, while Tundra topped the Group B standings at 3-1.
The $1 million Dota 2 tournament began with a single-day group stage featuring two round-robin groups of five teams apiece. All matches were best-of-one. The top teams received byes into the semifinals, the second-place finishers were seeded into the quarterfinals, the third-place teams were seeded into Round 2 and the fourth- and fifth-place teams were placed into Round 1.
All matches were best-of-three until Sunday's best-of-five grand final.
