WatchESPN Goes Down During One Of Biggest ESPN Broadcasts Ever
ESPN is airing today's Rose Bowl and the historic start to the college football "playoff," but viewers hoping to tune in via tablet, computer, Xbox, Roku, or any other device have been shafted by the Worldwide Leader's online video service going down at the most inopportune time.
There's precedent for this: WatchESPN also went down during the USA-Germany World Cup match. We'll update whenever the streams go back up—if they ever do.
Update (7:30 p.m.): WatchESPN appears to be back up on computers and Xbox, but Roku still seems to be struggling (and, thus, mobile devices might still be down too).
