The injury occurred when Coulibaly fell to the court in the team's loss Saturday against the Bulls in Chicago.
Coulibaly, a 19-year-old from France, was the seventh overall pick of the 2023 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers. He landed in Washington as part of the three-team trade that sent All-Star Bradley Beal from the Wizards to the Phoenix Suns.
The development of the young Coulibaly has been a bright spot for the woeful Wizards (11-57), who have the league's worst record entering play Tuesday. He is averaging 8.4 points and 4.1 rebounds over an average of 27.2 minutes in 63 games (15 starts).
