Yankees' Oswaldo Cabrera (leg) taken off field in ambulance

Mandatory Credit: Vincent Carchietta-Imagn Images New York Yankees third baseman Oswaldo Cabrera was taken off the field in an ambulance after a gruesome injury to his lower left leg in the ninth inning of an 11-5 victory over the host Seattle Mariners on Monday night.
Cabrera was hurt while sliding home on a sacrifice fly by Aaron Judge that gave New York the final run of the game.
Cabrera got his left leg caught underneath him and it twisted violently as he touched the plate. Cabrera immediately screamed in agony and trainers from both teams rushed to the plate.
A cart was originally brought onto the field, but an ambulance soon followed as trainers and medical staff put an air cast on Cabrera's leg.
Cabrera went 1-for-4 with a walk and a run, leaving him with a .243 average, one homer and 11 RBIs this year.
